Black Sea

Black Sea The Black Sea is the world's most isolated sea-connected to the Oceans via the Mediterranean Sea through the Bosphorus, Dardanelle and Gibraltar straits, and linked with the Sea of Azov in the northeast through the Kerch Strait. It is bordered by Ukraine, Russia, Georgia, Turkey, Bulgaria, and Romania. Since the Tsars began abandoning Moscow to holiday here in the 19th century, Yalta has been a magnet for people with taste and, it has to be said, in many cases with money. Istanbul is where old meets new, and where Asia and Europe collide, built upon seven hills it served as the capital of Turkey to three different empires.

Polar Regions

Polar Reykjavík boasts all the trappings of a modern European city, dusted over with eccentric Icelandic spirit. Thriving cafes, high-energy pubs and clubs, and a brightly coloured old town with rows of wood-and-corrugated-tin houses cluster together in the compact city centre.
The barren lava fields that surround Iceland's international airport are an eye-grabbing introduction to this near-Arctic island, belched out of the mouths of volcanoes (some still active), awash in midnight sun from May to August, glistening with glaciers, geysers, hot springs and waterfalls.

Cherbourg is a popular gateway to France from the UK is home to one of the busiest ferry terminals. Visiting cruise ships moor at the 'transatlantic terminal' originally built in 1933, this is also home to the 'La Cite de la Mar' which shows the many facets of underwater exploration, the ocean section houses the largest aquarium in Europe.
The main reason to visit Zeebruge is to go to Bruges, famous for it's cobbled streets, canals and for those with a sweet tooth 'Chocolate' . As this is Belgium, connoisseurs will enjoy the wonderful array of beers on offer and several tours will either visit a 'chocolatier' or a brewery ending of course in some tastings.
