Our Story – A Family Business Built From the Ground Up
Ocean World Travel began life in 1995 in a small box room in Birmingham. Founded with a simple but powerful aim, to help customers get the best possible value on their holidays while receiving outstanding service, the business quickly began to grow.
As demand increased, we moved south to an office in Winchester before expanding again into a two-storey office in Southampton, right at the heart of the UK cruise industry. Each move reflected our growing reputation for specialist knowledge, honest advice and a customer-first approach.
In 2017, we proudly opened our first high street shop in Chandler’s Ford, giving our customers a welcoming place to visit, chat through holiday ideas and meet our friendly team face-to-face. In 2025, we continued that journey by opening our second retail store in Wickham, allowing us to support even more customers in person.
Today, Ocean World Travel remains proudly family-run and independent, guided by the same values that shaped our earliest days.
