The Social Club

The Social Club is the perfect hangout spot for those young in spirit. The Social Club’s full retro arcade pays homage to the epic childhood video games of yesteryear – like Pacman, Mario Bros, Donkey Kong and other various vintage arcade games. Sailors can also play classic games like air hockey, bar-top shuffleboard, foosball and board games. Yup – you’ve guessed it’s all included. The Social Club is also home to The Social Club Diner where Sailors can grab classic carnival bites, and The Loose Cannon, our nautically themed cozy seaside drinkery. Inner children are permitted to run wild here.

The Dock Bar

An effortlessly elegant yet casual counterpart to the view-focused scene outside, the Dock House is *the* place to go for some healthy indulgence or a sparkly delight. With a fine selection of spritzers, detox mocktails, and Mediterranean-inspired drinks, it offers bright flavors that are anything but laid-back and live acoustic sounds that add up to the cozy atmosphere. The star of the show is our premium rosé program, specially curated to quench your thirst while rounding out each taste.

Tucked in the back of Razzle Dazzle, the Red Bar offers as much flair as its parent eatery. Our signature, Virgin-red running track forms a (255 meters-ish) halo-like vision over the ship, allowing you to sweat, strut or stroll. Because for some of us, the only kind of running we do is… from our problems. And don’t forget the SPF — The Runway is outside and the sun, unlike our problems, will catch up with you no matter how fast you run.

Training Camp

No membership required to HIIT this gym. Equipped with Technogym ARTIS, our Training Camp is where you’ll go for most of our group workout sessions. From indoor functional training sessions and gravity-defying bungee classes to our MyBeast outdoor gym equipment and Geezers Boxing ring, our fitness classes come in all shapes and sizes. And because we don’t believe in the “one size fits all” system, you can also try one of our Fitness On Demand apps at the Training Camp for some alone time.

The Athletic Club

Designed with the aesthetic of athletic social clubs of the past, The Athletic Club incorporates not only the Training Camp but also a Geezers Boxing ring, strength and gymnastics installations like you’d find in NYC sports clubs in the 1920s, MyBeast equipment, a basketball court, oversized games, and even adult-sized seesaws. Minimum Age

Every Virgin Voyages sailing is an experience created exclusively for adults, and the minimum age to book and sail is 18 years old.

The drinking age in international waters is 18, in the United States it’s 21, and in other ports, we’ll go with whatever their country’s laws specify. On Alaska itineraries, our onboard policy requires all Sailors to be 21 or older to purchase or consume alcohol.

Accessibility

Creating an Epic Sea Change for All means what it says: “for all!” – including Sailors with disabilities. Our pre-voyage Sailor Services Team is standing by to discuss how we might be able to provide you with reasonable accommodation or similar requests relating to your disabilities. Or, you can fill out a Accessibility and Medical Request Form so that we can work to provide you with reasonable accommodation to enjoy your voyage. Our Onboard Sailor Services team will be the team working to manage all of your accessibility needs.

Wheelchair-accessible cabins

We have cabins that can accommodate wheelchairs. Please bring your own preferred wheelchair, if needed, and be sure to book early to guarantee the cabin of your choice. Sailors who are bringing a wheelchair or scooter should book a Fully Accessible Cabin.

Service Animals

Your service dog is permitted on board. Service dogs are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, such as guiding people who are blind, alerting people who are deaf, pulling wheelchairs, etc. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person’s disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals and will not be welcomed onboard.

While in public areas, service dogs must be on a leash, harness, or other restraining device. Due to health regulations, service dogs are not permitted in pools, whirlpools, or spas. Care and supervision of the service dog is the sole responsibility of the owner. Our ships will not provide food or care for the dog but will provide designated service animal relief stations onboard that can be set up on Deck 7. Service dogs may not be left unattended in the cabin.

Virgin Voyages reserves the right to remove or exclude a service animal if it is out of control and its handler does not take effective action to control it, it is not housebroken, it poses a direct threat to the health or safety of others, or it is disruptive while on board. Damage to cabins or our ship caused by a service dog will be charged to the handler/occupant’s account.

TDD Kits

We have TDD kits available to accommodate those who are deaf or hard of hearing. Sailors may also message Crew via their smartphone through the Virgin Voyages App or by using their in-cabin tablet. Please contact our Sailor Services Crew for specific requests and accommodations.

Oxygen

Sailors are permitted to bring oxygen cylinders and equipment on board within the following guidelines:

Sailors must make independent arrangements for the rental, delivery, and return of any oxygen cylinders and related medical equipment. Only 2 cylinders per cabin may be personally hand carried aboard by Sailors. All other quantities must be delivered. Stevedores at the port terminal are unable to coordinate the transfer of oxygen cylinders.

Due to safety concerns and storage limitations, liquid oxygen or large cylinder systems (greater than 680 liters or E / M-24 size) are not permitted, and the types and quantities of oxygen cylinders allowed on board may be limited.

Sailors bringing more than one cylinder must make their own arrangements for transportation to the cruise terminal.

Braille

We’ve equipped all elevators, cabin doors, restrooms and entrances to public spaces with Braille for our Sailors.

Interpreters for deaf or hard of hearing Sailors

American Sign Language interpreters for those who are deaf or hard of hearing are available upon request. Please contact Sailor Services with at least 60 days’ notice to make this request. If we are notified less than 45 days prior and an interpreter cannot be arranged, assistance will be provided with booking at a later date.

Medical Facilities

We’ll have a licensed physician and nurses on board at all times while sailing.

“High Risk” Sailors

Sailors should notify Virgin Voyages of any existing high-risk health conditions no later than 48 hours prior to departure. If you need any help determining if you fall into a high-risk group, or to notify us of your high-risk condition, please contact accessibility@virginvoyages.com.

In addition, anyone who has failed the pre-voyage assessment or failed the 24-hour pre-voyage health questionnaire (by answering “yes” to any of the medical questions contained in the health check form) will be required to have a health evaluation with our Vikand Medical Care team at the boarding terminal to assess their ability to travel safely.

Any Sailor who is deemed to be in the high-risk group, or who our onboard medical service provider deems unfit to travel following a health evaluation at the boarding terminal, will not be able to sail with us and will be denied boarding. All Sailors should consider their own individual risk level for severe illness, and make travel decisions based on that — as well as conversations with their doctor prior to booking or sailing with us.

To reiterate, if you have any questions at all about whether you are considered high risk or not, please reach out to healthcheck@virginvoyages.com and we’ll gladly help.

Pregnancy

Congratulations on your new mini-Sailor! For health and safety reasons, Sailors must be no more than 23 weeks pregnant by the end of your voyage (meaning you may be up to 23 weeks and 6 days pregnant on the day you disembark).

Upon embarkation, you will need to provide medical documentation confirming:

• Your good health and your baby’s health
• That your pregnancy is not considered high-risk
• That you will be no more than 23 weeks pregnant by the end of your voyage

Failure to provide this documentation will result in denial of boarding at your expense.

Smoking Policy

Smoking areas are provided around the ship. A Guest found smoking anything, to include “vapes,” in their room (including balcony) or other non-designated areas onboard, agree to a $500 fee to be added to their onboard account, and may be disembarked from the Voyage, which may be at a port of call. Virgin Voyages will have no further responsibility toward Guest in this instance; the cost of return to the port of embarkation or Guest’s home will be borne by the Guest. If an Under-21 Adult is disembarked for a violation of this policy, the Responsible Adult will be disembarked as well.

While smoking is not permitted in the Casino, we do have a designated smoking room nearby on Deck 6.

Wi-Fi

Every Sailor has access to Wi-Fi at sea — so you can browse, email, message, and scroll social media without extra charges. For those looking for enhanced connectivity, optional upgrades (like Premium and Work from Sea Wi-Fi) are available for an additional cost, subject to availability.

The type of Wi-Fi included depends on the voyage fare option you selected when booking:

• Lock It In & Base (Standard Cabins): Includes Basic Wi-Fi (one device per Sailor).
• Essential (Standard Cabins): Includes Classic Wi-Fi (one device per Sailor).
• Premium (Standard Cabins): Includes Premium Wi-Fi (two devices per Sailor).

A bit like on an airplane, Wi-Fi at sea can be limited at times, but you’ll always be connected enough to share your voyage.

Dress Code

We always want all of our Sailors to feel comfortable. We encourage you to wear more than a bathing suit if you go to a restaurant, and to kindly wear footwear when you’re inside the ship. Your style is your style. Dress Up. Dress Down. Just Dress.

At Virgin Voyages, we’re all about Sailors feeling free to express who they are, and we know personal style is a huge part of that.

That said, we kindly ask that Sailors keep the comfort of everyone in mind when enjoying our shared spaces. Personal style is always encouraged, so feel free to have fun and express yourself! We just ask that attire remains considerate of those around you. On occasion, we may host private groups or themed events in designated venues where attire may be a bit more daring. If you’re joining one of these events, we ask that those bold looks stay within those specific spaces.

ShipEats

ShipEats is our onboard food and drink delivery service, which you can access through the Virgin Voyages App.

Delivery Charges

There is a $10 delivery charge. However, the fee is waived if you order items totalling $10 or more, or if you’re staying in one of our RockStar Quarters.

Food allergies

Just pop by the eatery on board and let our Crew know so that we can work with your restrictions. Please note, our kitchens are NOT allergen-free.

Because the ships are supplied all over the world, it may be easier to meet your specific food allergy requirements in some countries, but very difficult in others. Special dietary requests should be submitted at least 45 days prior to sailing. For requests made with less notice, we will make our best efforts to provide your requested accommodation but cannot guarantee our ability to do so.

We can arrange to have no sugar and low sodium meals for Sailors with those specific medical dietary restrictions upon request.

Please note, Virgin Voyages does not have allergen-free kitchens. We do not offer Halal or Kosher Dining options.

Vegan & Vegetarian Options

Shell yes! All of our eateries feature at least one vegetarian option on their menu. In fact, one of the most iconic spots on board, Razzle Dazzle, offers a modern twist to comfort go-to’s with plant-based vegetarian and vegan alternatives to classic dishes. You can’t miss it (literally, there are red and white stripes all over the walls.)

Alcohol Policy

The drinking age in international waters is 18, in the United States it’s 21, and in other ports, we’ll go with whatever their country’s laws specify. On Alaska itineraries, our onboard policy requires all Sailors to be 21 or older to purchase or consume alcohol.

Drone

While we understand that you may legally be able to fly a drone at certain ports along your voyage, we do not allow drones aboard our Lady Ships. They will be confiscated pre-voyage and returned upon arrival at our home port. Please visit here for the full list of prohibited items

Virgin Voyages is committed to achieving Net Zero Carbon emissions by 2050. We have designed an efficient ship with new technologies, like Climeon, to optimize and reduce our fuel consumption, and are committed to continuous improvement.

Fuel Efficient & Smart Design
State-of-the-art technologies optimize fuel and energy usage throughout the ship, from LED lighting to cabin sensors that auto- close curtains, turn off lighting, and adjust A/C settings. Even “The Band,” our personal smart tech wearable, is made with recycled marine and coastal plastics.

Waste Not, Want Not

Shore Things

What kind of shore excursions does Virgin Voyages offer, and how can I buy one?

Not your average “stock tour” experiences, our Shore Things aim to connect Sailors to paths less traveled within each destination, providing access to local culture and discovery.

Sailors can book Shore Things by visiting the Discover tab on the Sailor App, logging into “My Account”, chatting with our Sailor Services Crew or through their travel partner.

All Sailors will be able to book within 120 days prior to their voyage start, and those booked in RockStar Quarters will get early access within 135 days.

How do I pay for Shore Things?

You can pay for your Shore Things through the Virgin Voyages App, “My Account” on www.virginvoyages.com(will be opened in a new window), or by visiting us on board at the Sailor Services Desk on Deck 5.

When can I book a shore excursion?

All Sailors will have the ability to book shore excursions (which we like to call our “Shore Things(will be opened in a new window)”) directly from our Sailor App, through the “My Account” section in www.virginvoyages.com(will be opened in a new window), with our Sailor Services Crew or through a travel agent.

Booking opens 120 days before the voyage start date for all Sailors. Payment is due at the time of booking.

Sailors who are booked in RockStar Quarters may begin booking 135 days before the voyage start date.

The 135-day early access window applies only to the Sailor(s) staying in a RockStar Quarters cabin. It does not extend to any other Sailors on the same voyage who are not booked in RockStar Quarters.

How do I cancel my Shore Thing?

Sailors who wish to cancel a Shore Thing must do so 24 hours before the day it is scheduled. This can be done pre-voyage through the Virgin Voyages App, in the “My Account” section on www.virginvoyages.com(will be opened in a new window), or by contacting Sailor Services. While on board, Sailors can also cancel before the 24-hour cancellation deadline by stopping at The Red Table on Deck 7.

Can I reschedule my Shore Thing?

Sailors can reschedule a Shore Thing before the cancellation deadline (24 hours prior to service) unless otherwise noted in the description, which can be found in the Need to Know section in the Virgin Voyages App.

What is Bar Tab and how does it work?

Bar Tab is Sailor Loot (AKA onboard credit) that’s pre-purchased to spend on premium beverages all around our lady ships and at The Beach Club at Bimini. The best part? For every Bar Tab purchased, you get an extra amount added, on us. Get some cocktails on the house or in this case, ship. Like most of our Sailor Loot, unused Bar Tab credit is not refundable at the end of a voyage, so drink up or feel free to share with a friend – or two!

What’s the benefit of purchasing Bar Tab?

Of course! Bar Tab is designed to cover any premium drinks – whether they’re for you, a mate or a stranger you befriend on board. Therefore, unlike traditional packages, we’re not requiring every Sailor within a cabin to purchase a Bar Tab.

The Beach Club at Bimini

What is included in my visit to The Beach Club at Bimini?

• Wi-Fi – Complimentary internet access throughout the Beach Club.
• Transportation – Free tram shuttles run every few minutes between the cruise dock and the Beach Club.
• Lagoon-Style Pool – Two large pools (6,200 sq. ft. and 7,200 sq. ft.) surrounded by lounge chairs, umbrellas, daybeds, and floaties.
• Private Beach – Access to a pristine beach with lounge chairs, daybeds, and hammocks.
• Facilities – Lockers, changing cabanas, restrooms, and showers.
• Dining – All-you-can-eat fresh, Bahamian-inspired delicacies. Complimentary soda and water are included.
